青岛, Qingdao
红瓦绿树,碧海蓝天: red roofs, green trees, blue sea, blue sky.
Qingdao still looks the way it’s always been described. Red-tiled roofs climb the hills, twin spires rise over the old town, pines lean across the seaside promenade, and the pier points straight out to sea. Newer towers line the bay now, and from above, the coastline curls around the city before the water runs out to the horizon.
